Planet e-stream is an amazing resource for all GDST schools. You can find it at http://video.gdst.net/

You probably know that you can use this to save TV programmes. Under the “create” menu is the option to record TV, including programmes you missed from the last few weeks. All programmes saved are then available to everyone in the GDST.

Also the green “connect” button takes you to the archived content where you can search for programmes from the past few years. Saved films can be shared as links with students or embedded into other sites. Setting chapters in videos is a really useful and quick way to identify sections of the video which are relevant.

Soon to be released is the ability to create quizzes within the video to check student’s understanding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AiAgnLWapxI

Under the tools menu it is also possible to download the planet e-stream encoder if you want to record your own screen videos.
